Duomo
The Duomo, in Gothic style, is one of the largest Catholic churches in the world.
Characteristic for its beautiful exterior full of pinnacles.
Its facade is covered with marble and inside it houses towering marble columns and works of art scattered throughout the temple.
It has a panoramic terrace located on the roof of the cathedral which offers incredible views of the Italian city.
Tickets can be purchased at the Cathedral Museum or online.
Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery
At the Galleries Vittorio Emanuele you will find some of the world's most important brands and fashion houses.
This 19th century architectural work brings together history and elegance. Its incredible iron and glass vault is a sight to behold.
You will also find terraces of cafes and restaurants in the galleries. Café Biffi is the most famous of the galleries as it is one of the oldest establishments in the city.
The galleries connect two of the most important places in the center of Milan: Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Scala.
Sforza Castle
The Sforzesco Castle was built as a defensive fortress in the fourteenth century but later became an elegant ducal palace.
This construction houses an incredible beauty which makes it one of the great cultural attractions of this Italian city. It offers an incredible amount of museums inside. Among the most important we have the Museum of Ancient Art, the Egyptian Museum and the Museum of Musical Instruments.
It has a totally free inner courtyard that leads to the interior of the Sempione Park, ideal to take a break.
