The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is a house-museum resulting from an extraordinary collecting story at the end of the 19th century, featuring two brothers as protagonists: barons Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi. Starting in the 1880s, the two barons dedicated themselves to the Neo-Renaissance style renovation of the family home located in the heart of Milan: a palace between via Gesù and via Santo Spirito, today at the center of the Fashion District.
The artistic heritage is still preserved inside the Museum, maintaining the original layout conceived by the two founders, amidst elegantly decorated walls, precious collections of applied arts, and works by Gentile and Giovanni Bellini, Giampietrino, and Zenale.
